As you know I am a big fan of using Facebook for business marketing strategis. There is no shortage of courses out there that will teach you how to leverage the power of facebook, but finding one that delivers value for money in a no-nonsense, easy to understand format and at an affordable price can be a challenge.
I am so glad Amy Porterfield had decided to launch such a course ‘FBinfluence‘ …in fact it only launched earlier today!

Hi Louise
I must confess I have never heard of Amy Porterfield, It seems she comes with quite the fb marketing pedigree though. The fact the course is being promoted by Lewis Howes would give me comfort. As you know I am still working my way though the Video Academy course also promoted by him. It is excellent information and value so I am sure Amy’s will be too.
Thanks for the review.

Hi Sue….yes, I agree, Lewis Howes always seems to put his name to quality courses, so that in itself is comforting. As you say, Amy is more than qualified to teach this course and I like the fact that he has so many real examples to show. And she keeps things simple….doesn’t over complicate things like so many others seem to.

I have been using Face Book for business for a while now and find it a great way to communicate with people.
Thank you for sharing this useful information – will investigate further as I also hadn’t heard of Amy before reading your post. Thank you.
Thank you Brenda…I agree that Facebook is a great way to communicate with people in your business.
Louise
Facebook is great for many purposes, but mainly the connect and engage factors are the best. I love to hold fun events on my pages and love to answer questions or comment on other pages when I can.
Marketing is not as easy as people make it out to be on Facebook because a lot of times those marketing are a little “in your face” and have not been able to balance enough where you feel welcomed and not feel obligated to buy a product or service each time.
I have met quite a few authors in person that Wiley Publishing has picked up and since Amy has, I am sure her FBInfluence will be awesome.

Hi Nile….yes, you make a great point. Marketing on Facebook is all about social networking and is very different to the type of marketing we have been used to in the past. People wanting to use facebook for marketing purposes need to adapt to the changing face of marketing that is social media marketing. Louise
I find FaceBook very useful for business purposes but only if you have a good established account.

Hi Louise,
Wow! This is a great post! Truly FB is one of the biggest company now and this is one of the greatest way to promote business. But There is a rumor that google+ is now better than FB. Is this true?
Hi Melissa….Google + has certainly made quite an impression in a very short space of time, but they still have a long way to go to catch up with Facebook’s close to 1bn users. I don’t think Facebook is going to disappear in the near future, but I am sure Google+’s influence is going to continue to grow. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out. Louise
Thanks for this louise amazing.

I agree that Facebook is a huge site, but like you said in another post, You Tube is the second largest search engine, and there are other ways to get cheaper, faster traffic. Unless you can work out how to get one cent clicks on Facebook Ads, (which is almost impossible), then it’s going to be an expensive way to reach your customers, which works if you have a good profit margin.
Rowan recently posted..How Do You Make A Professional You Tube Video?
Hi Rowan…there are lots of ways to use Facebook for marketing without having to resort to Facebook ads. Yes, it will take a little longer, but FB should not be excluded from any marketing campaign on grounds of cost. Having said that, i agree that YouTube is also a fantastic marketing vehicle. Louise
Facebook has a great power that has just been used in recent times. Who the real buyer is has been understood by many marketing professionals. With the youth in the world today having more and more money, either that they work for it or they get it from their parents. These are the easiest to convince that a product is cool and should be brought. This has made social network sites so popular as marketing platforms. The reason Facebook has become so poular is that it is the No.1 social network site in the world and has been used effectively for marketing for some time now.
Using social networking sites is the right and guaranteed approach for marketing of the business. This will help in networking which will benefit even small business to be in a better position. Facebook is the most popular social networking site. You have rightly mentioned about using facebook for marketing will be of great benefit for small business owners. Using facebook will give them the recognition in a much less time than any other medium of marketing. Also the right approach of using facebook for marketing is equally important. And for this right approach you have posted a great suggestion for readers. Thanks for sharing it!
Marketing business with facebook the success is guaranteed. Jack have rightly said that a right approach is needed to market your business through facebook, then only one’s business will be a success. New business ventures should be made aware of how to utilize facebook for marketing. Amy Porterfield’s webinar might just help newbies in business in marketing with the help of facebook. Thanks for posting it!
Thanks Jeo….yes you are right….Amy’s course will help anyone wanting to use Facebook in their marketing. Louise
Facebook has always been my first choice when I considered a promotion platform for my business. But my partner disagreed as he felt it was a small world there, where people you knew were there and they had an idea already about the business. But in my view, the fact that business can also be propagated to friends of friends and others is proving to be true by what Amy is saying. Am going to show this post to my partner and am hopeful that now Facebook will be our No.1 advertising and marketing platform.
You have hit the nail on the head Wayne. As you say, the power of facebook lies in it’s reach well beyond your own circle of friends. Louise
I am a little confused about the Facebook ads and marketing. Will marketing on Facebook be something similar to those annoying posts that appear on the right of your home page? I would not like my business to be something like that. I personally do not like those pop ups so I am against that type of marketing. Please would like some clarification in this regard. if it is something different then I would definitely be interested in it. All the best.
Facebook ads are paid advertising that appear on the right when you are in Facebook. Facebook Marketing on the other hand is all about using Facebook to promote and market your business. It can include Facebook Ads, but there are lots of ways to use Facebook for marketing purposes without using ads. Hope that helps. Louise
Yah i agree with you,i don’t hear about portefield.facebook is a one of the best social networking site to promote product and services and also communicate with peoples.

Facebook as a promotion for programs that people have in local area and at home are a great idea. I have personally used it while having my kitty-parties and people actually inform you if they are coming or not, this helps with catering, really nice. If it works on this small scale level, I am very sure that it will work on the larger scale too. Amy makes the point very clearly and is a first hand user, so I am definitely going to start using it. Appreciate your great and helpful idea and advise.
Facebook is my new go-to place when it comes to promoting my business. A friend of mine said, don’t just chat do other stuff as well and that totally inspired me to use all the opportunities there for the benefit of my business. After reading this blog post I have got some good ideas as well, will be using them too. Thanks a ton for sharing. Facebook sharing is very easy and convenient for all. I have reaped the benefits and hope that others do too.

Facebook is a new marketing powerhouse and many people know about it, but they are not willing to share their knowledge. Blogging as we all know is more and more like a war to do business and make more money. Thank God that people like you still exist who help others and share your experience and valuable knowledge with your fellow bloggers. Keep such helpful posts coming. Looking forward to a New Years post soon. Cheers to that.
Am a big fan of Facebook and have started using it as my marketing strategy to help my business. By God’s grace it has been very successful, I must say and many people have visited it since doing so. I second this idea and thank you Amy and Louise for your help. All the best to you two. The advise was very beneficial.
