I don’t know if you’re in the same position I used to be in, but 12 months ago I had a passion and I wanted to share it with the world.
Only problem was… I didn’t know how!
So, I embarked on a journey that has turned out to be far more exciting than I ever anticipated. First of all I wanted to learn how to set up my own blog. It took me forever, but I got there in the end and I started writing some great posts, sharing my knowledge and ideas with the world (or so I thought
) and of course I also wanted to start making money from my blog.
I was happy and proud of my achievement. Now all I needed was some visitors…
I waited for my visitors to come, leave me comments and buy my stuff, but…
Nope… NO ONE came. Well, a trickle came, but it wasn’t exactly a stampede!
No one left comments and No one bought my stuff.
I was soooo disappointed…What had I done wrong? I’d just given away my BEST blog content and no one cared!
I realised I had a problem!
I could have the BEST blog in the world but without visitors and comments it was just a waste of my time and energy.
So I thought about it for a while and remembered a friend of mine who was an established blogger. I asked her what the secret was. What could I do to get more blog comments and visitors, meet some great people and ultimately make some money with my knowledge?
What Are Tribes?
She asked me if I’d heard about Tribes… (which I hadn’t) and she went on to explain that by working together with a group of people, it was possible to gain between 9 and 67 blog comments on each post I wrote, increase my visitors by between 22 and 200% AND meet some awesome people in the process.
She pointed me in the direction of the TSA (Tribe Syndication Association), TSA Mastery and their 3 Step Syndication System.
And I haven’t looked back since….

The TSA Mastery – 3 Step Sydication System
The 3 Step Syndication System is a 3 step process, with a view to gaining more traffic to our blog, more comments and meeting like-minded people. The 3 steps we use are:
Connect
Comment
Share
So we connect with other bloggers, which means I get to meet lots of fantastic like-minded people, who support each other within this community! We then comment on every blog in our group of 10 each week. The other people in my group come back to my blog and do the same, which means I get more comments on my blog, it looks busy and I feel popular
and it no longer resembles a ghost town! After all, people attract people, so the busier my blog looks the more people it is going to attract!
And lastly, we all share each others content across the web which results in new people coming to visit my blog every day from Facebook, Twitter, Google and other sites.
It’s a great idea and works very well… but I’m not going to go into FULL detail here as Dave, Dawn, Kim and Gavin have done a fantastic job of explaining how it all works over at TSA Mastery – 3 Step Syndication System
If you would like to learn more about Tribes, and how and why they work, they’ve put up a 90 minute recording of an ‘exclusive’ webinar they did for their members recently. I strongly recommend you head over there, watch the video and submit your details.
It changed my perspective about how the Internet works and I look forward to seeing you in the community. Drop me a message if you have any questions and as always I welcome your comments below and appreciate it if you share my content with your friends
PS If you prefer a live webinar, there will be one next Wednesday, 27th July at 5pm Eastern Time. Go to TSA Webinar Signup to register and learn more about how you can turn your blog from a ghost town into a busy hub!

Hi Louise
Great post and a very timely reminder for me. I used to be in Unified Tribe and had a reasonable amount of visitors from there. The only problem with that tribe was people shared your content, mainly twitter and only a small percentage ever commented.
When I left UT I remained in contact with some people I had met and continued to share their content and they in turn mine. But without a formal group over time this has fallen away.
It is time for me to join TSA.
Great post as always Louise.

Hi Sue
The great thing about the TSA syndication system is that blog comments are more highly rewarded than tweeting or sharing on facebook and so on. So it encourages people to go out and comment on blogs. Dave, Dawn, Gavin and Kim have fostered a community of reciprocating, so if you go out an comment on other people’s blogs, those people will usually return the favour. I hope to be able to welcome you to the community soon
Louise
Hi Louise,
My blog did not even attract ghots …:-)
TSA is one great tribe… have been with them for a few months now and the traffic to my blog has increased 10 fold…
I have meet so many supportive people…hard to imagine so many in one place.
The beauty of TSA is the owners Dave,Dawn,Gavin & Kim have put so much into the training… the videos are so comprensive and easy to follow… and everyone is so helpful.
You have my vote for TSA.
Great post.
Cheers

Hi Louise,
Thanks for sharing this, there’s a time when we got only few visitors and even comments. With this, we will be rekindling the traffic in our blog passion.

Hey Louise…. Boy… can I identify with that! It’s all so exciting when we’re new and want to share our Fabulous (…at least, what we think are) ideas, comments, products with the rest of the world. You know, when we’ve had an epiphany and think that the whole universe needs to understand… and NOBODY shows up!
It certainly can be disheartening when you’ve put your best efforts forward… and then sadly find out that no one seems to care!
Alas, groups like TSA can go a long way to changing that for you. Thanks for the reminder. I’m going to go have a good look at TSA to see how it will help me!

Hey Chris….yes it was a very lonely feeling when I had put so much effort into just getting my blog up and running….and then noone seemed to care. TSA is not just a great place to generate traffic from, but I have also met some really great people there. Everyone is at a different stage, so I am able to help and support some people who are new, and at the same time learn from others who have been blogging much longer than I have. Hope to be welcoming you to the community soon!
Louise
Hi Louise,
Yes, its really important to connect with bloggers. Share ideas, information, opinions, and passion. I guess its also important to join others who share the same passion with you.
I totally agree Calli…thanks for stopping by.
Louise
Louise,
TSA rocks! I love the community! As beginning bloggers we all rely on each other to support and uplift one another. I have developed great friendships with like minded people and we have all learned from together. I’m glad you shared with the world the fun and benefit of TSA!

Well I have absolutely no idea what it says on that sign, but the “ghost town” message is clear. Just wanted to endorse your comments about TSA – I’ve only been a member for a few months but the comments on my blog have exploded and my page rank shot up from “0″ to “3″ so I couldn’t be happier. I am actually a member of a couple of other syndication groups, and still find TSA to be the best hands down. I encourage anyone who is serious about growing a blog to join … one tip though, like anything in life, you get out of it what you put in to it.

Thank you Marquita….I am glad you also find TSA to be of such value and I am interested to hear that you find TSA to be the best syndication group. And I have to second what you say about only getting out of it what you put in. The picture by the way is of Kolmanskuppe in Namibia. It used to be a gold mining town, but is now just a ghost town in the middle of the desert…..fascinating place.
Louise
What an excellent explanation of TSA and tribes. You held my interest right from start to finish. Thanks Louise, that was a good read.

Louise, you are right on. One thing that sets TSA apart from other tribes is the fact that blog commenting is encouraged so strongly. You rarely see that in other groups, because it takes more time to do it. If you are consistent with blog commenting it does drive more traffic, but you have to be consistent with it.

In order to bring traffic to your blog , you have to use hot favourite keywords and make you post unique from all others.Which is useful to other people. If you are a self publisher then you can go on top positions and can get high traffic to your blogs ,or your posts . best wishes thank you

Hi Louise,
How wonderful that the journey you embarked on 12 months ago turned into an exciting adventure! Now you have lots of blog visitors who can share that excitement with you! How great is that!
TSA IS an amazing, supportive community of like-minded individuals and we have the opportunity to learn so much from each other. Of course, we also get the huge benefit of others syndicating our content which is a major reward for becoming a member of this very special tribe.
As Dave so perfectly states, “We have created the best Tribe Syndication system on the planet but it’s up to you to take advantage of it. Do very little, get very little in return. Do a lot, get a lot in return! Our system rewards those who step up as LEADERS and those who don’t, you’ll get what you give PERIOD.”
So, those who are ready to really engage in what has been created by the leaders at TSA can expect to be given so much in return. TSA so powerfully provides each member with much more business exposure, as well as relationship building and an amazing community in which to build lasting friendships. We are so fortunate!
Thank you Loren for that great comment and explanation of how we can all benefit from TSA. I think the most important thing for anyone considering joining TSA to remember is the point you make about only getting back what you give. You are in the perfect to position to make that comment, having reached top commentator status in TSA this week…..Congratulations!
Louise

I also use TSA and can vouch for it’s reputation and results. My blog’s popularity has skyrocketed in the last 3 months, thanks in large part to TSA and a couple of other syndication tribes I use. It is an awesome way to drive traffic and make connections.
Thanks for the information, Louise. Best of luck with your blog!

Hi Louise. Great points here about TSA. I can say I’m really grateful I have found this tribe. The men behind and all the people in this tribe are really awesome. One thing really great in connecting with fellow bloggers is that I’m learning from them.
Jeff
Yes, I agree Jeffrey, it’s great to be learning from each other.
Louise
I take the view that Tribes are like lighter fluid. Once the fire gets going on its own, you may not need it. So it is with social buzz. Chris Brogan, Darren Rowse, and Ann Sieg already have enough social buzz in their respective fields that they don’t need to belong to a tribe to get syndicated. A Tribe provides the initial support. Then it’s up to you to fan the flames with great content and other great actions to keep them coming back, whether you are in a Tribe or not. Right now I’m in a tribe.
Richard Goutal recently posted..Networking is the Key to Your Online Success
Being a member of a tribe is so much more than just syndicating your blog. I have learn from so many members who are open to share their knowledge without hesitation. If more business people would work in this fashion we could be able to do so many things together.

Hi Louise,
Great information for both new and established bloggers. I can so relate to the ‘ghost town’ analogy as that’s exactly how mine looked for the first year until I found a tribe to connect with. It’s so disheartening initially to be putting in all that effort and seemingly be talking to oneself! Not only does a tribe give you social proof, the connections that come from engaging online often turn into life long friendships.
Thanks for sharing.

Louise

Hi Louise,
Thanks for sharing this excellent post on the importance of tribe syndication and in particular, the value of TSA Mastery.
I have always been a strong supporter of blog syndication and set up FaceBook blog groups and I would syndicate other member content, but it was never reciprocated. But, that was before people really started to understand the value of that type of mutual support.
At TSA, the mutual respect, great blog content and reciprocity is very evident. This is a community that really encourages the right mindset and support.
There is so much value added by the Community and the members are awesome and there is so much to be learned when you visit blogs to comment on.
I am a HUGE fan of TSA Mastery, the premier tribe syndication community on the Net…
Keep up the great work,
Marc

Louise,
Very nice review and analysis. I love my tribes and belong to a few. They have truly helped my blog feel more like a home than a ghost town.
For those who are starting out it can be overwhelming at first to think about syndication and I was nervous about it until I realized there was no reason to be. We were just people helping people.
Go Tribes!

Hi VaNessa….I think we all feel a little nervous when we first start out. Most of us are not used to opening ourselves up to potential public criticism, but as you say, we are all there to help each other and syndicating has opened up a whole community to me that I never knew existed.

Hello Louise,
I was skeptical at first about getting into TSA but I love it. I love meeting so many wonderful people and it feels like another part of home. TSA is a group of people who are sharing and getting to know you on a personal level.

Hi Louise,
At one time, I didn’t do any blogging because I wan’t sure I wanted to be that connected to the world. I assumed that I would just be overwhelmed by comments and requests from people and it wouldn’t help my business. I had seen blogs that had so much stuff to them and so many comments and my head kinda exploded. Eventually, my business partner started a blog and there were very few visitors and comments and then I was sad. He and I were both spending time on this – why wasn’t the world responding, lol. So I lost some interest in it again and then I met a successful blogger and I saw how it could be helpful to my business and I learned about tribes. Since then, I’ve gotten more visitors, more comments, more great connections from people. I wish I had know about tribes sonoer! – Rob
